New Cannabis Executive Leadership

Canadian medical cannabis giant Aurora Cannabis Inc. ACB ACB shared on Tuesday that Simona King, a former executive of Bristol Myers-Squibb BMY, will take on the role of CFO, replacing Glen Ibbott.

Aurora also announced a consolidation of its common shares on a 10 to 1 basis, impacting trading on the NASDAQ Capital Market and the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) under the symbol “ACB.”

The Chicago-based Cresco Labs Inc. CL CRLBF 6CQ promoted Greg Butler to president, overseeing strategic operations and investor relations.

The Hempshire Group, Inc. HMPG announced the retirement of CEO and Director Alex Shegelman, with Tom Shuman and Kevin Bautier stepping into CEO and CFO roles respectively.

Vancouver-based Rubicon Organics Inc. ROMJ ROMJF appointed Margaret Brodie as CEO and named Janis Risbin as CFO and corporate secretary.

Los Angeles-based STIIIZY INC. named Isaac Kim as its new CFO, while California-based Lowell Farms Inc. LOWL LOWLF appointed Jamie Schniedwind as CFO.

AgriCann Solutions Corp. saw the resignation of Dome Duong as CFO and director, while ZYUS Life Sciences Corporation ZYUS added Hance Clarke, MD, PhD, FRCPC to its Clinical Advisory Committee.

Cannabis Board Adjustments

Several cannabis companies also made changes to their boards of directors. The Colorado-based Charlotte’s Web Holdings, Inc. CWBHF CWEB appointed Matthew E. McCarthy, the former CEO of Ben & Jerry’s Homemade, to serve on its board.

Bright Green Corporation BGXX added its CEO Groovy Singh to its board, while naming Lynn Stockwell as the new chair of the board, replacing Terry Rafih, who resigned.
