Belkin International Inc., a consumer electronics and networking company, has unveiled the innovative iPhone dock, Belkin Stand Pro. This dock boasts user-tracking capabilities, setting it apart as a unique offering in the tech landscape.

The Stand Pro integrates Apple Inc.’s DockKit framework, eliminating the need for a third-party app and streamlining the user experience. Priced at $179.99, it is the first dock of its kind to leverage this framework, making it a pioneering advancement in the industry.

This revolutionary device features a 360-degree rotating cylindrical base and a MagSafe-equipped motorized arm with a 90-degree range of movement. When paired with an iPhone 12 or newer model, the dock utilizes NFC to automatically adjust the device’s position, ensuring the user remains in the frame during video calls or filming.

In addition to its user-tracking capabilities, the Stand Pro supports up to 15W wireless fast charging when connected to the included USB-C cable and 30W power supply. For added convenience, it also offers the option for battery power, providing around five hours of use on a single charge.

The integration of Apple’s DockKit framework in the Stand Pro marks a significant milestone in the consumer tech industry. Despite the availability of more affordable motorized stands in the market, the Stand Pro distinguishes itself as the first to utilize this groundbreaking framework.

Belkin has also announced an upgraded version of its BoostCharge Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Stand and a new Qi2-enabled BoostCharge Pro Magnetic Power Bank. While the availability of the Stand Pro is yet to be confirmed, the other products are expected to be available in March, further bolstering Belkin’s innovative product lineup.
