In early trading on Wednesday, shares of Amgen topped the list of the day’s best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 3.4%. Year to date, Amgen registers a 6.9% gain.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is International Business Machines, trading down 3.5%. International Business Machines is lower by about 4.1% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Salesforce, trading down 2.9%, and Apple, trading up 2.2% on the day.
