GoldMining Inc. (NYSE:GLDG) has announced promising outcomes from its 2023 drilling program at Alaska’s Whistler Gold-Copper Project, led by its U.S. GoldMining Inc. subsidiary. The project unveiled a high-grade gold and copper core near the surface with significant drill results, indicating potential for further expansion. Notably, the company holds approximately $129 million in cash and investments, including an 80% interest in U.S. GoldMining, and is well-positioned for future endeavors. In addition, the mounting uranium prices have bolstered the prospects of its Rea uranium project in Canada.

Idaho Strategic Resources Inc. The event, aimed at discussing strategies for resource exploration, discovery, appraisal, mining, and processing, will play a pivotal role in shaping the nation’s critical minerals independence. Swallow’s involvement in the Industry R&D Needs panel underscores Idaho Strategic’s role in addressing the U.S.’s rare earth elements demand and marks a significant step towards a viable solution.

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. Surpasses Q4 and Full-Year Expectations

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. (NYSE:FCX) has exceeded its October 2023 estimates in both copper sales volumes and unit net cash costs for Q4 2023, reporting net income of $388 million (equivalent to 27 cents per share) and adjusted net income, excluding net charges, of $393 million (also 27 cents per share). Notably, the company achieved 1.1 billion pounds of copper, 573 thousand ounces of gold, and 20 million pounds of molybdenum production in Q4 2023. The figures for the entire year closely mirrored the quarterly results, signifying a successful performance for Freeport-McMoRan.
