Unveiling the Process for Creating Your Own GPT
Prior to commencing, it is imperative to note that access to the GPT Builder feature necessitates a ChatGPT Plus subscription.
- Access chat.openai.com and log into your account.
- Click on the Explore option situated in the left sidebar.
- Select the Create a GPT option located at the top.
The GPT Builder page will come into view.
- Provide a concise description of the type of GPT you wish to construct.
For instance, a sample description could be: “Create a creative individual who assists in producing visuals for new products” or “Fabricate a software engineer who aids in formatting my code.”
- ChatGPT will then offer a suggested name for your GPT.
- Upon confirming the name, it will generate a profile picture for your GPT.
The GPT Builder will prompt you with a series of inquiries to adjust and refine your GPT. It is important to respond to them lucidly and meticulously.
Once completed, the GPT Builder will generate a preview on the right-hand side of the screen.
- Click the Save button, and you are all set.
- After your customized GPT is ready, initiate a trial run to evaluate its functionality.
- If adjustments are desired, select the drop-down menu adjacent to the GPT’s name and click Edit GPT.
