New Streaming Bundle Launch

Walt Disney Co, Disney Entertainment, and Warner Bros. Discovery Inc have introduced a new streaming bundle in the U.S., consolidating Disney+, Hulu, and Max.

Bundle Details

This bundle is now available for purchase on any of the three streaming platforms’ websites.

Priced at $16.99/month with ads and $29.99/month without ads, the bundle offers up to 38% savings compared to individual services, according to Variety reports.

Content Diversity

Combining three popular streaming services into one subscription, the bundle offers content from various entertainment brands like ABC, CNN, DC, Discovery, Disney, Food Network, FX, HBO, HGTV, Hulu, Marvel, Pixar, Searchlight, Star Wars, and Warner Bros.

Subscribers gain access to a plethora of franchises including Family Guy, Bob’s Burgers, Disney’s Frozen, The Avengers, Star Wars, Toy Story, Batman, Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter.

Cost Savings

The ad-supported bundle provides savings of up to 38.8% compared to standalone services.

Individual prices for Disney+, Hulu with ads, and Max with ads are $7.99 each, and $13.99, $17.99, and $16.99 respectively for the ad-free versions, showcasing savings of nearly 35%.

Strategic Benefits

The partnership aims to boost engagement, diminish churn rates, and lower customer acquisition costs for both companies.

Warner Bros. Discovery’s collaboration comes on the heels of losing its long-held NBA broadcasting rights to industry giants like Disney, Comcast Corp, and Amazon.Com Inc.

Stock Performances

Warner Bros Discovery stock has dropped over 37% in the past year, while Disney has shown a modest 4% gain.

On July 25, Macquarie downgraded Warner Bros. Discovery from Outperform to Neutral with a $9 price target.
