Decoding Tesla’s 6M Production Milestone And Its Impact On Q1 Deliveries

Elon Musk Praises Tesla Team for Reaching 6M Production Milestone

Tesla, Inc. achieved a significant milestone recently, surpassing the production of 6 million vehicles. CEO Elon Musk took to social media to express his gratitude towards the team for this remarkable achievement.

Implications for First-Quarter Deliveries

This milestone has not just been a cause for celebration, but it has also led to an adjustment in the estimates for Tesla’s first-quarter deliveries. Troy Teslike, a renowned figure in the world of Tesla predictions, remarked on the potential impact of this milestone on upcoming delivery figures.

While optimistic about the increase in production estimates, Teslike still anticipates a slight decrease in first-quarter deliveries compared to the numbers from a year ago. Despite this projection, historical data shows that Tesla has seen a decline in deliveries only once in the past, during the second quarter of 2020, due to pandemic-related shutdowns.

On a more bullish note, Gary Black of Future Fund suggested that Tesla might have achieved a production figure of around 424,673 cars by the end of March, with an expected delivery of approximately 415,000 units for the first quarter.

Anticipation of First-Quarter Delivery Report

Investors await Tesla’s official report on first-quarter deliveries, scheduled to be released early next week. Analysts predict the details to be disclosed next Tuesday. Market expectations are moderate, considering the challenges posed by a slowdown in demand in China, softness in European markets, and supply chain constraints in the U.S.

Tesla’s stock closed Thursday’s session at $175.79, marking a 2.25% decline from the previous session, based on data from Benzinga Pro.
